New Book Has Been Released!!!

After nearly a year of writing, revising, proofing, and preparing, I can officially announce that my newest book, The Water Nymph, has now been released! It’s been a long journey since last Christmas when I started writing it, but I can honestly say that this has been one of the easiest and quickest books I’ve ever written. I swear, for the most part, that it wrote itself.

Last year I took a British Literature class at the same time that I was taking a Mythology class. We read Paradise Lost by John Milton in my Brit-Lit class, and even though I’ve read it before, it really stuck with me. In my Mythology class we learned all about the ancient Greek myths, such as Echo and Narcissus. The two classes helped me form my new book, which is a mixture of biblical stories and ancient Greek myths.

Over the last year I have grown very fond of my main character, Cort Edson. He’s been in my head (and in a lot of conversations with family and friends) for so long that I’m really excited to finally share him with others. I hope that everyone who reads the book likes him as much as I do.

If you’re interested in the book, here are the links where it is available.

Okay, I guess that’s it for now! I’ll try to come on here again soon with updates on book readings and signings! I’m also planning on doing some type of YouTube video to advertise for it. What that video is going to be, I don’t know. I guess we’ll just have to see. If anyone has any ideas though, I would love to hear them! Talk to you later!
Love,
~Alysun
