I know it’s been a long time since my last post, and I’ll explain my absence soon. But first I wanted to make two announcements. Just like the title says, my newest book, The Water Nymph, has an official release date and an official cover art! Check it out!
The release date for this book is set for October 18, 2012! That’s right, just two and a half weeks away! Now, I have to apologize for being away for so long. I’ve had a bit of a family emergency in the last couple of months, and it’s held a lot of my attention. Not to mention I just started school about a month and a half ago. Needless to say, I’ve been busy. Plus, I’ve been trying to get this book ready for publishing since I finished it back in August. Now here it is, and I’m very excited!
Things are going well for me here, other than the family emergency. I’m back in school, and this is my last year before I finally get my Associates Degree. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this certificate, and I’m very proud to say that it’s almost over. Well, at least this part. If my books don’t make it, I have a long ways left to go. If my book does make it… well, lets just say that writing will be my career.
In other news, there is so much to tell you since my last post. I’ve read a few books since whenever I last posted, but I think my favorite one has to be The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I absolutely loved it, and I so what to see the movie. Unfortunately, the movie isn’t in theaters where I’m at. Hopefully it will spread like wildfire. I so want to see it. Emma Watson and Logan Lerman? Forget about it! I also read The Hollywood Hills Series by Traci Hohenstein. They’re cute for anyone that wants to read something short and sweet. I really enjoyed them.
I bought the new J. K. Rowling book, but I can’t get into it. This really hurts me, because I’m a huge fan. I’m really hoping it gets better soon, but if it doesn’t that’s okay. Rick Riordan’s new book is coming out, and I’ll get it on my Kindle on Wednesday! I’ve really missed my Percy Jackson, so I can’t wait to read The Mark of Athena. Just a couple more days and it’s mine!
Last night I went out to go see that new movie called Hotel Transylvania. I’m really not sure if I spelled that right, but it doesn’t matter. The movie was cute! I had no idea that Adam Sandler was playing Dracula, but I’m glad he was. He was perfect! In another couple of weeks I’m going out to see my Halloween guilty pleasure: Paranormal Activity 4! Am I ready to be scared? YES! I’ve been looking forward to this movie, and now I’m anticipating the fear factor of it. Soon… so soon.
Okay, I think that’s about All I have to say right now. But, before I go, I’m going to leave you guys with the synopsis to my new book. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it makes you want to read more:
Cort Edson’s world has been shattered. His older brother was killed in a tragic car accident that
nearly took both of their lives. It’s three years later and Cort is still numb from the loss. He doesn’t have any friends at school, and every night he is forced to relive the accident over and over in his head. He’s never been one to believe in Heaven or Hell, but after nearly being drowned by a fairy woman in Greece his whole world is once again turned upside down. Soon he is forced to come to grips with the fact that there really is a Heaven, and it’s in danger of being taken over by Hell. Now he must fight to protect this world he’s never believed in. Because if he doesn’t he will lose everything he’s ever cared for: His mother, his sister, and this new mythical woman who has just stolen his heart.
Talk to you guys soon. Well… I hope. No more emergencies please! I’ve had enough! 🙂
